Now that you have successfully placed your order it is time to ship it. What's next and how do you ship your orders? There are two ways to ship your orders....

Ship Order API
Our Ship Order API can be integrated into your WMS/TMS system to print the necessary international shipping labels. This API method sends all necessary customs documentation electronically to your chosen carrier(s), returns a ZPL string of the label image, and returns tracking data in the response so the order status can be updated in real-time. This is a recommended method if you expect to have heavy international volume.

Ship via our Portal
You can ship directly from our shipping portal via the web. You will need at least one computer with access to both a ZPL printer and a document printer. In most cases, all customs documentation will be sent electronically. However, carriers/customs will require that packages going to some locations have printed customs documentation applied to the outside of the package.
How do I receive my tracking data and update orders in my system?
As part of our integration, we will setup a FTP directory where we have an automated process that will post a flat file of all shipments, which contain the order number, package identifier, tracking number, SKU(s) that were shipped, and the ship date. You will need to have a process that consumes this file and updates your system. This process will send tracking data on the hour, every hour, every day.
How do I ship packages using the package identifiers generated by my WMS/TMS?
Tradeglobal Commerce offers an API or File Feed method of updating your orders with the package identifiers you assign from your system. Simply, pass the order number, your package identifier/order reference value, SKU(s) associated, and our system will take that information and tie it to the web order number that's in our system. This will enable you to scan your identifier in your warehouse via our portal/Ship Order API. If you prefer to search by order number, then this API/Feed is not necessary.
